I began my relationship with the Catskills as many others have--as a second home owner based in NYC. When I first came up to the mountains in 1980, it was love at first sight, and I determined to build a home here.

At that time, I was managing a graphic design business in the Big Apple, but I resolved to buy land and build my own house--and that’s exactly what I did--bought 10 acres in Andes, took the summer of 1981 off and camped on the property while I constructed my own home (with the help of a friend and one hired assistant).

The first 10 years were spent here part-time, going back and forth to my home in Manhattan, but in 1990 I took the plunge and moved here permanently.

For 15 years now I have been working in my second career as a Real Estate Broker and its been a busy time for me. This is, indeed, a 24/7 business and I have put my time in to succeed in this competitive industry.

In 1998 I joined the Frank Lumia Real Estate Plus! team, and it has been an upward journey ever since. As Managing Broker of the Margaretville office, my goal has been to bring the most attentive and professional services to the practice of real estate--and simplicity to the buying and selling of property, a transaction which can otherwise seem to be complex and intimidating to many people.

While the Catskills have gone through many changes since I first gazed upon the beauty here--it still remains a special wild and inspiring environment, and I see my role here as an advisor to people in their life goals, whether they are planning to move on elsewhere, or have the same dream I once did, which was to purchase property in such a spectacular place. And ultimately, my sincerest wish for all of my clients and customers, many of whom have also become my friends, is that I helped make their journey here an easier and more rewarding experience.
